These terms set out the conditions for using Ppokkuk Alarm (뽀꾹 알람, "the App"), made by Oneuldal Studio ("the Studio"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the App.
1. Rights in the App
Copyrights and trademarks in the App and its images, characters, text and sounds belong to the Studio or the original rights holders. You may not copy, modify or distribute the App or any part of it without permission, extract its source code, or build another app by changing it.
2. Free use and Premium subscription
Alarms and the Follow Ppokkuk mission on Easy are free to use, and the App contains no ads. All other missions and difficulty levels are unlocked with a Premium subscription.
Anyone can dress up Ppokkuk. Dress-up items are bought with Seed Coins. You get coins once a day when you open the App, and Premium subscribers get more for the first mission they clear each day. Seed Coins are points used only inside the App: they cannot be bought with money, exchanged for cash, or refunded. Coins and items are stored only on your device, so they cannot be recovered if you delete the App or switch devices, and Restore purchases does not bring them back.
- There are two plans: 1 month and 1 year. Prices are shown on the purchase screen and in the store.
- The 1-year plan includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged when the trial ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The next period is charged within the 24 hours before the current one ends.
- If paid plans or prices change, we will tell you clearly in advance. Price increases follow the consent process set by each store.
3. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel through your store. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- iOS: Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- After you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds follow the refund policy of the store you bought from. If a purchase is refunded, Premium ends as well.
4. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use Restore purchases at the bottom of the subscription screen to get back a subscription made with the same store account.
A subscription works only within the store where you bought it. A subscription from the App Store can't be used on Android, and one from Google Play can't be used on iPhone.
5. When an alarm may not ring
The Studio works to make alarms ring reliably at the set time, but alarms are raised by your device and its operating system. An alarm may be late or may not ring, for example when:
- Your device is off or its battery is empty
- Alarm or notification permission is off, or a battery-saving feature stops the App
- The volume is down, or silent mode or Do Not Disturb blocks the alarm
- The operating system has an error or restriction, or the App is deleted or the device is reset
For anything where missing the time would cause serious harm — exams, work, flights, medication — don't rely on the App alone; set another alarm as well. Except in cases of the Studio's intent or gross negligence, the Studio is not liable for damages caused by an alarm that doesn't ring or rings late.
6. Your responsibilities
- We recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which weakens its security and may stop the App from working properly.
- Please don't modify the App or tamper with payments to get Premium unfairly. If we find this, we may block access.
- Checking your subscription needs an internet connection. Outside Wi-Fi, your carrier may charge data or roaming fees, which you are responsible for.
7. Third-party services
The App uses third-party services such as the Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat. Each follows its own terms. If you purchase through the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies; where it differs from these terms, these terms prevail.
8. Limitation of liability
The Studio works to keep the App accurate and working well, but does not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Except in cases of the Studio's intent or gross negligence, the Studio is not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Updates and ending the service
The Studio may update the App, and you may need to install updates to keep using it. We do not guarantee the App will keep working on every operating system version.
If we need to stop running the App, we will announce it in advance in the App or on our website, and any remaining subscription period will be handled under the store's policy. When the service ends, the rights granted under these terms end as well.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this document and its last updated date. Important changes will also be noted in the App's update notes.
