Oneuldal Studio ("we") develops and operates Ppokkuk ("the app"). This document explains what information the app handles.
1. We do not collect personal information
The app has no account and no login.
Your settings — which hours ring, which weekdays, which sound — are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. They are removed when you uninstall the app.
Hourly notifications are raised by your device itself. Nothing is exchanged with the outside world to deliver them.
2. Advertising
The app is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob.
To serve ads, Google may collect and use device identifiers (advertising ID), device information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This information is handled by Google; we cannot access it. What we see in AdMob is aggregate figures such as how many times an ad was shown.
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We require Google to handle this information with protections equivalent to those described in this policy.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
On iOS the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before showing ads for the first time. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized ads only if you allow it; if you don't, the app and its ads work the same. You can change your answer anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
European Economic Area and the UK
In these regions the app asks for your consent before showing ads. After answering you can change your choice at any time from Info (ⓘ) → Ad settings inside the app.
3. Children
The app is not primarily directed at children. Because a clock app may be seen by anyone, we restrict ad content to the General audiences rating.
4. Permissions the app requests
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Notifications | To show the hourly notification |
| Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) | So the notification arrives on the hour |
| Receive boot completed | So schedules survive a device restart |
The app does not access location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
5. Sharing with third parties
We collect no personal information, so we share none. The only third-party service embedded in the app is Google AdMob, described above.
6. Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes all settings stored on your device. No request to us is necessary.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this document and its "last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
